Happy Holidays From Kuwait

Friends,

As I write this I am taking a break from some interesting yet frustrating international law issues. I think the issues are frustrating because my thoughts are of home and you all. I really don't have much to report, like I've said before, it is groundhog day . . . but the day just gets longer, and longer, and longer, you get the point. No doubt I am ready to be home. I don't know how the combat soldiers do it. I cannot imagine being here for 18 months, 6 is long enough.

As the season to be jolly, but more importantly a season of faith and reflection (Thanksgiving, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, Christmas, New Years, Ramadan) I thought I would take this oppurtunity to wish you all a very merry/happy holiday of your choice and Happy New Year. Your continuing support of me raises emotions that I cannot describe.

The happiness your support brings me, takes me to the verge of tears (yes I am secure enough in my masculinity to wear pink and cry). Thank you for being my friends and for supporting not just me, but the thousands of others here, or in many cases up North in much more difficult and dangerous surroundings. I miss you all a great deal . . . so many of you have become extended family to me, or in some cases have had a significant impact on my life in one way or another. I wish nothing but the best for you and your families. I pray for your continued happiness and well being.

Have a great New Year.
Love,

Josh.
